You can fill your house with great furniture and a crazy amount of throw pillows, but it's the little things that will make it truly feel like a home. The best & worst part about this? These items can be inexpensive but they make take a while to acquire. It's easy to run to West Elm and pick up 50 small, unique pieces that will absolutely add the flare you're looking for, but these won't be personal. Don't get me wrong, I love me some marble and gold knick-knacks, and West Elm is my favorite go-to, but these are best used as small details to incorporate in with your personal pieces. Look above for example..

Our special day was so magical that I wasn't sure how a 15 minute video could actually capture it all. I was completely wrong. I am so grateful we made the decision to have Christian DaCosta as our videographer. Now, 6 months later, we are able to look back and relive our day again, feeling those same emotions as if we're in it today.
Words cannot describe how thankful I am for those that contributed to our day, and make our relationship the fun adventure it is. I have been dying to share all of our incredible wedding pictures since just two weeks after! Lucky for us our photographer Sara Lynn Photography was quick and amazing about getting them back to us. The delay came from potentially submitting them to a publication but I think we all got a little antsy waiting to here back. Finally we decided to end the wait and get them out there! I couldn't possibly share all of my favorites.. I selected 450 - gasp! I know. So instead I have provided you with the ones I think show our story best.
Just 4 years ago Clark and I moved to Milwaukee, WI. Shortly after arriving I started working as a nanny for a local family and explained that we were here for school, and nothing more. What I meant by that was that when the 4 years were over, we would be heading back to our home: Colorado. The mom of the house, whom has since become basically family, jokingly said I would never leave. Well folks, she was right.
It's finally warming up here in Milwaukee, and the snow is melting. What does that mean? You can shed some of your layers, and bring out a few of the warmer weather pieces you've been missing. This outfit is a combination of a few of my favorite work pieces made casual with a great pair of denim. The peep toe heels are not only comfortable, but perfect now that the ground is dry again.
