In One Year From Today...

June 12, 2016.
Nope, I didn't get the date wrong.  In exactly one year from today, the most amazing thing is going to happen..
I get to marry my best friend
I get to walk down the aisle to that goofy smile that I can already picture
I get to be embarrassed by his vows (he's informed me that he's not going to hold anything back)
I get to do my best to embarrass him, even though he seems to be ashamed of nothing
I get to be surrounded by the love of our supporting friends and family as I commit my life long love to the most amazing person
I get to witness all the dreams we had for this day come true, or not if it rains.. I'll try to keep myself together in that situation
I get to kiss my husband.. a word I will never tire of saying
And then it will no longer be I..
We will get to dance, play games, and eat our favorite foods in the company of our favorite people
We will get to look back on the 5 years of being together and smile knowing we have 100 more
We will get to spend a night celebrating our love for one another and the relationship we're so lucky to have
We will get to end the night as a newly married couple, believing that the best is yet to come
And finally, the next morning, a year from tomorrow, we will wake up knowing the party is over, our love is stronger, and that this unbreakable bond is forever because...
