To put it simply, I'm a girl who can't get enough of tutus. This one from Shabby Apple is the perfect way to bring out my inner princess, ballerina, all things girly. Every tutu is easy to dress up with a pair of heels and big jewelry, however it is the casual look that I love. Adding a distressed jean jacket, t-shirt, simple jewels, and a pair of white Keds, makes this tutu an every day piece.
For anyone living in or visiting Milwaukee, I will tell you there is one place you have to go. It's not a landmark or a fancy restaurant.. It's not the place you'll see in travel magazines or even one you'll take pictures of. Yet it's the place where locals go to take a step back and be in the moment. Swing Park is located under a bridge next to the river. It has a sandy floor and several tire swings. Across the river is a brewery that constantly has people celebrating and drinking around it. Connecting the two places is another, beautiful bridge. All in all, it is a quite place separated from the rest of the world's chaos. It reminds you to be a kid again and have fun.. to not think of the daily stress usually consuming your life.
That feeling you have from flying through the air on a swing is a similar one to the feeling a tutu brings any girl. Putting this skirt on reminds me of the fun times in life. It encourages me to let the innocent girly side out. And let me tell you, there's nothing better than
living in the moment - swinging in a tutu.
